Lecture by  Michael Greger, MD, Director of Public Health and Animal Agriculture, Humane Society of the United States: "Bird Flu: A Virus of Our Own Hatching" Dr. Greger has just released a book of the same title.
 
The lecture is co-sponsored by the Rochester Area Vegetarian Society and Animal Rights Advocates of Upstate New York.
 
This lecture is the program of the November meeting of the Rochester Area Vegetarian Society, which begins with a share-a-dish vegan dinner at 5:30 PM. All are welcome to attend the dinner, but please observe the vegan rules (see our newsletter or visit www.rochesterveg.org). Non-members are asked to pay a $3.00 guest fee. You are free to attend the lecture only, and members of the general public are WELCOMED to the dinner and/or the lecture. However, seating is limited (the Lodge holds 100 people).
 
*PLEASE NOTE that while RAVS usually meets on the 3rd Sunday of the month, because of Dr. Greger's schedule, this meeting takes place on the 2nd Sunday.
