· Due to possible construction on Blossom Road from Landing Road east to the park entrance, follow detour signs. You can take Browncroft to Blossom, turn on to Blossom and proceed to the entrance to the park.
· Enter the park at the “Hazelwood Lodge” entrance off Blossom Road.
· Look for Heartbeats! signs.
Picnic checklist:
To pass:
[ ] Vegetarian, low-fat dish to pass
[ ] Serving utensils for your dish.
Your own:
[ ] Place setting, including dishes, knives/forks/spoons, and glassware. Tablecloths will be provided.
[ ] Beverages, ice
[ ] Veggie burgers and/or veggies to grill. No meat, please. A charcoal grill will be hot and ready for your use.
[ ] Bug spray
[ ] Folding chair – optional. The shelter has tables and benches. or, you may want to bring a cushion for the bench.
[ ] Ellison is a carry in-carry out park. Please be prepared to carry out your own refuse.
Restrooms are available a short walk from our shelter.
